TIPO publishes Taiwan-Japan Concordance List of Similar Group Codes

On 10 March 2023, the Taiwanese Intellectual Patent Office (TIPO) published the Taiwan-Japan Concordance List of Similar Group Codes corresponding to the 12th edition of Nice Classification, version 2023 (NCL(12-2023)), that became effective on 1 January 2023.

Madrid Protocol fees fixed for Mauritius

Lao PDR revises individual fees under Madrid Protocol

Based on the provisions of the Common Regulations under the Madrid Agreement and Protocol Concerning the International Registration of Marks, the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization on 22 March 2023 notified the revised individual fees payable when the Lao People’s Democratic Republic is designated in an international application or in an application for renewal of international registration or is a subject of subsequent designation.

USPTO launches Final Pretrial Conference pilot program
